Security Policy

SOE BOBKA & ASSOCIATES Nigeria Limited has it as a policy and function to manage Security Affairs as an integral part of overall CASHES programs and indeed part of the company’s business so as to minimize the number related incidents for all staff, clients and the third part personnel involved in her operations.

To ensure the implementation of this policy, the company shall engage a number of trained resource Personnel. The company shall engage a Chief Security Officer as Middle Management Personnel who should organize, co-ordinate and implement all company’s security ideals and programs.

In addition to company’s unarmed security operatives, the services of a licensed and professional security shall be secured on retainer ship to act as support to the company’s security system. The services of armed security agencies, such as Police and Mobile Force, shall be sought in very rare circumstances such as riots, and armed attack.

At project locations, local security men shall be used to protect the company’s equipment and facilities in a bid to a good rapour between the company and the host community.

Owing to cases of threats, piracy, armed robbery and community mob action/assault that characterized our operations in the swamp, site security may be beefed up using trained/armed security men to avert any danger and for enhanced security emergencies management.

Essential work gadgets, such as walkie-talkie, uniforms, batons, and firearms (as the case may be) shall be provided to enhance their activities. 

Security items shall form part of site CASHES briefing and toolbox meetings; an incident must be reviewed in site/management CASHES meetings. Security training/drills shall be conducted for increased security awareness. 

The chief security officer (report to the CASHES Manager) shall be the focal point and shall act in concert with relevant department. In the realization of a set of security objectives and targets he shall develop database for enhanced management of security.
